Potomac Community Track Use Guidelines

The track at Potomac is now open to the public for use.

Please note that the track will not be available to the community during school hours (which includes after school activities such as team practices, events closed to the public, etc).  

• On weekdays, school hours/after school activities are between the  hours of 7 a.m.  and 6:30 p.m.  The track will be closed during this time.

Community track use hours

📅 Weekdays - the track will be open as noted below:

• Morning Hours (before school):  6 a.m. until 7 a.m. 
• Evening Hours:  6:30 p.m. until sunset; as long as the track is not in use for team practice, school events and games or community rentals.

📅 Weekends - the track will be open as noted below:

• 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., unless the track is reserved for school events or community rentals.

🔒 Please note: The stadium will be locked at 4 p.m. unless in use for games or other scheduled events.

Additional information

• The track is closed on school holidays, teacher workdays, and other days when students are not in session.

For safety and facility care:

• The field, goals, and athletic equipment are not open for community use
• Only use track lanes
• No pets are permitted on the track or within the stadium.
• Treat the campus and facilities with respect at all times.
