Potomac Specialty Night Information

Potomac High School Specialty Night will be held on Thursday, January 14 via Zoom from 7 - 8 PM.  Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to log in to any of the Zoom sessions within that hour to speak with a representative.  Prior to joining the meeting, please take time to review our 5 specialty programs on FlipGrid: Cambridge, Criminal Justice, Culinary, Cyber Security, and Welding.

Application Information

Prince William County Public Schools offers high school students specialty programs, career and technical education program, Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC), the Governor’s School at Innovation Park, and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Information about all of these programs may be found on at www.pwcs.edu/Specialtyprograms.
You have accessed the PWCS Specialty Programs Application. Program locations are based on geographical location. In the form below, you may choose up to three (3) PWCS High School program opportunities, in order of preference. Applicants who meet criteria for a program may be considered for acceptance into that program. Applicants may only be offered acceptance for one specialty program. If you are offered and decline acceptance to a program, you will not be considered for additional programs. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status in mid-February.
