Code Orange Day will be an asynchronous learning day for students.  Students should use the day to work on assignments related to curriculum previously taught. In-person and live virtual sessions will not occur, but our PSHS Staff will be available via Zoom during their department’s slotted time for office hours to answer individual student questions. Students should visit their teacher’s Canvas pages for more info. 

Students should access the classes that were scheduled to meet that day – Even/Odd, NOT all 7 classes! Upon our return to school, we will continue with classes as scheduled, in the Even – Odd day pattern.  For example, if the Code Orange Day was an Odd day, we will return to an Odd day.

Zoom Access: 

While teachers will be available (via Zoom) during their department's office hours, student login to Zoom is optional.  Students who are new to PWCS  (or who have never accessed our district's Zoom App) will need to activate their Zoom account by logging in at: https://pwcs-zm-edu.zoom.us/ before attempting to use the app.

The attached document provides step-by-step instructions.  Note: Following these steps only activates the student's Zoom account.  To access a teacher's Zoom link on a Code Orange Day, students must log into their Canvas course and use the link provided by the classroom teacher.
