Dear Potomac Community,

Our Potomac teachers and staff are excited for students to return on Monday, August 19th! I am sending this quick note to let you know that I will be away on medical leave to start the 24 - 25 school year. In my absence, I'd like to help clarify administrative roles and responsibilities.

Mrs. Stacy Norwood will be serving as acting principal until my return. Mrs. Norwood has been with PWCS since 2001. She taught at Gar-Field High School as a social studies teacher until 2012, when she became an assistant principal here at Potomac High School.

Recently retired PWCS Administrator, Mr. Bill Bixby, will temporarily join the Potomac Administrative team to support Mrs. Norwood and the work of our team. Mrs. Norwood can be reached at [email protected].
