Assistive technology opens up doors for learners

Steve Walts, Superintendent of Schools, visited Swans Creek Elementary to see how assistive technologies - from screen readers to Go Hit Buttons - are helping students use their strengths to overcome their disabilities.

While there, Dr. Walts also joined in the celebration for Red Ribbon Week, the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention awareness campaign, observed annually in October.
