I am a 2008 graduate of the University of Wyoming. I graduated with a degree in secondary chemistry education with a minor in secondary earth science education. I grew up in a small ranching community on the eastern plains of Wyoming. My wife and I have recently re-located to the Northern Virginia area from Columbia, South Carolina. This will be my second year as part of the Potomac High School community and I am extremely excited. The most important goal I have for my classroom is that every one of my students feels valued, respected and comfortable expressing their thoughts and opinions. Along with that, I want my students to really enjoy learning about science, while gaining a thorough understanding of the subject matter AND learning valuable strategies for academic success. Today’s youth face an increasingly competitive and globalized world; I want to prepare them for it as best I can. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns during the course of the year. I will be in contact with you, by e-mail, by phone and our School Fusion Webpage.
