Design Multimedia is a business course designed to help students to develop proficiency in using publishing software to create a variety of printed publications. Students will incorporate journalistic principles in design and layout of print and web publications including integration of text and graphics and use hardware and software to develop and create quality materials for business related tasks. Students will incorporate the process of analyzing information and audience and choosing the appropriate visual methods to communicate the desired message effectively.
September 13, 2016 Assignment: Open the Word 2016 Folder - 1. Open Practice Document 1 and save to your class folder. Click on the link for Pictures and Text Wrapping. Read the tutorial and watch the video. Your task will be to follow the steps you learned to edit the Practice Document 1. Move the images around and add 3 new pictures of your choice. Do not print the document. Just make sure you save the changes.
September 15, 2016: Use Word to create a document that identifies the 5 different functions of a computer. (Input, Output, Process, Storage, Communication). Your document should contain a short paragraph that includes a definition, description of use, and the names of at least two examples of the device. Also include a picture of the device and wrap it around the text. Save as Computer Functions
September 21, 2016: Go to the Word Folder and Open the Using WordArt File. Read through the pages that will help explain how to add and edit WordArt. Your assignment is to create a new Word Document and use only WordArt and Textboxes to create a WordWall. Create 10 words in text boxes and 10 words in WordArt. Each Word must have a different color, size, effect and font. Save as WordWall.
