In Earth Science, the students explore the areas of geology, meteorology, astronomy, and oceanography.  They are required to learn the latest concepts, developed in explaining the complex natural forces controlling the earth in terms of our weather, the oceans, crustal process and space exploration.  Emphasis is put on the students’ inductive reasoning powers to lead them to a more thorough understanding of the earth sciences.  Labs, lab reports, use of graphs, and formal projects also challenge the students to enrich their pursuit of knowledge of our dynamic earth.  All material covered in this course focuses on the requirements of the Earth Science End of Course SOL exam.
