Hi, my name is Mr. Sandy and I was Born/raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone.  I am a two time Olympic Sprinter with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MIS).  I began my quest of obtaining a higher education once I had confirmed that talented student athletes could earn scholarships to attend college in the United States.  The combination of academics and athletics was my motivation to becoming a pioneer of International Track and Field from my native Country. In due course, I was able to earn a College scholarship to the United States.

1989 was a busy year for me, I managed to finish fourth place at the; all African Championship, British Commonwealth Games AAA trials, and a finalist at the World University Games in Duisburg Germany.  In 1990 I was a Semi-finalist in the British Common Wealth Games in Auckland New Zealand. In total, I am a 13 time all American College sprinter.

Why I became a Teacher:  I strongly believe that to experience and celebrate the best of life is to ensure that ones’ life is nurtured! Mentoring and guiding our children is imperative to the well-being of our Country and Global community.  It is a child that becomes and an adult therefore, caring for them is vital to creating contributors that will add to the future value to our society.
